Buchan Development Partnership is an independent, community-led charity working with communities across Buchan. We advise and support groups to keep their essential community facilities running and tackle some of the pressing economic, social and environmental issues they face.

We support new and existing community projects of all sizes by providing information and advice on funding, applications, governance and structure, project planning, feasibility studies, community consultations and capacity building.

We offer free support to not-for-profit community organisation based in the Buchan area or with links to the area.

We began life as the Buchan Development Initiative, based in Maud and evolved into the Buchan Development Partnership in 2000. We moved into our new office at Greives’s House in the Courtyard at Aden Country Park in February 2022.
